Elizabeth Cohen

Elizabeth Cohen is a professor of English at SUNY Plattsburgh. She is the author of a memoir, The Family on Beartown Road, and the forthcoming book of short stories, The Hypothetical Girl (Other Press). Her poems have been published in Yale Review, Northwest Review, Kalliope and Open city, among other places. Her new book of poetry, What the Trees Said, is coming out later this year from Split Oak Press. She lives in upstate New York with her daughter, Ava, their dog Samo, and way, way too many cats.​
